Dr. Maria-Alina Carataș is a lecturer at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), where she teaches Intercultural Management and Negotiation Techniques for Business Administration. She coordinates the Executive programme Summer School on Port and Maritime Leadership, is a deputy coordinator of the Master in Business Analytics program at FABIZ, and serves as Institutional Coordinator for the Erasmus+ project European Inclusion of Ukrainian Students at Ovidius University of Constanța. With a multidisciplinary background in business administration, accounting, corporate governance, sustainability, and international cooperation, her work connects academic research with executive education and regional development.

She is particularly interested in the role of responsible business, education, and cross-border partnerships in supporting sustainable development, peace, and stability in the Black Sea region. Through the programme, she brings together academic, industry, and public-sector perspectives on maritime connectivity, port development, the Middle Corridor, and resilient supply chains.
