Remi Smolinski is Professor and Academic Director at the Center for International Negotiation at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. He is a negotiation scholar, educator, and executive adviser whose research and teaching focus on negotiation performance and competencies, leadership, international and cross-cultural negotiation, ethics, and the application of artificial intelligence in negotiation. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Negotiation and Conflict Management Research and as a board member of the International Association for Conflict Management.

He is the founder of The Negotiation Challenge, one of the world’s leading international negotiation competitions, and co-founder of Discurso. AI, a technology venture applying artificial intelligence to the analysis and development of negotiation competencies. Alongside his academic career, he has held senior positions in media, e-commerce, banking, and consulting and regularly advises organisations and trains executives in negotiation, conflict management, strategy, and innovation.
