Mihai Marinescu is a business transformation professional, experienced in project, programme and portfolio management, both in process design / methodology implementation as well as practical management of large cross functional programs or portfolios of projects, with experience in the Financial Services, Energy and Professional Services industries.

Currently he is the Business Transformation Director for EY Romania & Moldova and EY Southern Business Unit, overseeing all change initiatives for this region. Before joining EY Romania in 2018 as Senior Manager in the Consulting practice, he worked as Vice President at Barclays (London, UK) on Global Regulatory Change programs with a focus on implementing compliance with various provisions of ESMA CSDR, ESMA EMIR and CFTC Dodd-Frank Act. Previously to his career in banking he worked as a Principal Consultant for US companies based in New York where he lead a number of engagements and business development initiatives for major clients in oil & gas, banking and healthcare industries. Mihai is a former FABIZ student (’03) and has multiple certifications in project / program management, agile and scrum.
