Oana Garcia is the Founder and Managing Director of Build Know How and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ), Bucharest University of Economic Studies, where she teaches data analytics, business intelligence, and data visualization at Master’s level. She brings more than 20 years of international experience across data, analytics, technology, and management consulting, including senior roles at Citibank, HSBC Global Banking & Markets, Allianz Global Investors, and EY.

Her expertise spans data governance, business intelligence, data quality, technology transformation, and organisational performance. Drawing on experience across more than 30 countries, she developed the 5D Performance Model™, a methodology connecting Direction, Decisions, Data, Dynamics, and Durability to sustainable high performance. Through her teaching, consulting, and speaking, she focuses on helping leaders and organisations translate data, technology, and AI into better and more responsible business decisions.
